Named in honor of her parents, Theodore "Buddy" and Claire Poole, the foundation reflects her deep commitment to continuing their legacy of furthering educational endeavors and helping those in need with generosity and compassion.
As President, Diane leads the Foundation's philanthropic and humanitarian efforts, directing resources to organizations making meaningful impacts in healthcare, education, animal welfare, and the arts.
A longtime resident of Tenafly, New Jersey, Diane is passionate about philanthropy and believes in the power of giving back to create positive change in communities both locally and around the world.
Nicole Chessin serves as a trustee of the Buddy Poole Foundation, bringing her diverse background in law, entertainment, and business to the organization's philanthropic mission.
Nicole is the founder of The Law Office of Nicole Jaclyn Chessin, Esq., where she focuses on litigation and transactional work. After practicing at Shearman & Sterling and Eversheds Sutherland in New York City, she made the decision to leave big law and start her own practice. She earned her Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law in 2018, where she was inducted into the Order of Emory Advocates, and was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2019 and the Washington, D.C. Bar in 2020.
Prior to her legal career, Nicole graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami School of Business Administration with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2013.
Nicole routinely finds and attends charitable endeavors around New York City, the Hamptons, Florida, and Utah, and is passionate about supporting causes that make a difference in people's lives.
Bradford Chessin serves as a trustee of the Buddy Poole Foundation, contributing his expertise in technology and business to support the foundation's charitable initiatives.
A graduate of the University of Maryland, Bradford has built a successful career in software engineering. He currently serves as a Senior iOS Engineer at Block, where he empowers small businesses through Square's initiatives. Prior to Block, he served as a Mobile Tech Lead at Capital One, demonstrating his leadership abilities in the fintech space.
Bradford has used his technical expertise to create this website and the foundation's social media presence. Based in Washington, D.C., he actively supports various charitable events in the area and is committed to leveraging his skills to help expand the foundation's reach and impact.
